If you search "karaokeparty.com lost media" on the internet, there's a website that got REALLY popular with that gamemode.

Your page/game/website is SO cool. It needs to be shared even more.

Another suggestion: When I add music, I'd like that the system pitched it automatically, or some kind of interface that pitches the song smartly, by averaging multiple players pitch during each line.

Also @Asvarox , I have a database of many, many songs with line-synced lyrics and syllabe-synced lyrics, bigger than usdb's.

I would like to know if you wanted the API to add even more songs, automatically, to your project.

I made a prototype to automatize music pitching, TXT generation, and more, I'm actually sending a lot of songs, so sorry for that...

Edit: Acually, I'm trying UltraSinger to pitch better the songs. I could use it to transcribe the audio too, but I think it's too much, since I already automatized it with the lyrics.

I just need to put algorithms to include the "~" on the lyrics, or try out UltraSinger to see if it can do that gracefully.

Another Idea: when on a battle: the UI should be like single player, but with the end of each lyric line the points of each other get updated.

Many people play this game by sharing the screen and using remote mics, and that hurts the score really badly.
The experience is laggy and slow because we can't see the video, audio and lyrics.

Also, we could store an optional instrumental video because some people prefer to sing that way.

Hey, thanks for the warm words :) You touched couple of topics, let me go through them

Regarding the online mode I've been slightly reluctant, but since there are more and more people suggesting that - that's a big one to implement (relatively) so hopefully later this year I can make it happen, too much other things going on at the moment for me to afford the time unfortunately. I can imagine playing this "online" with someone streaming the main game must be horrible for such timing-base game

On the automated pitching, I think rakuri255's put a lot of effort (and continues to) into UltraSinger. I've had mixed results last time I tried (but I've been mostly dealing with Polish songs on MacBook pro - no CUDA - which could diminish the accuracy). That being said it's very unlikely it would be available online on the website - it's simply too expensive to run.

For an API for songs, I'm always in for more songs :) But I currently go through each one to make sure they are more-or-less in sync with the video, so we're back to the time matter :( . I don't want to engage you to do some work I won't be able to use anytime soon. I'd suggest adding them to USDB actually, so other people, also using UltraStar and the likes can benefit

For the auto pitcher, have you tried paradigmn/ultrastar_pitch? It's pretty fast. I have tried UltraSinger, it's cool, but since it's slow I don't use.

I have an API with syllabic lyrics of Apple Music, and some of them are line synced, which is a bummer. But I made it compatible :/

We should definitely do this karaoke video thing because people will love this option.

The online mode too, it will pay up.

About a community social, like Discord, what do you say?

And coming back to the API, I can host a preview of it so you can test it first, what do you think?

You give a youtube video ID, spotify ID, deezer ID, and if the song has lyrics available, it will give you a pitched .TXT in ~ 3s.
