Skipped this cycle: scoped a smaller, higher-confidence fix instead (plugin.yml's stale main: class + missing permissions: section, see PR #54), to stay within this cycle's diff budget. This issue (uncommenting/registering CraftItemEventHandler, which is currently entirely dead code wrapped in a block comment and not referenced anywhere in the main plugin class, plus adding PAPER/GOLDEN_APPLE to its whitelist) is a larger, separate unit of work better suited to its own cycle.
