Navigation app flags stop working with always on mode

• I searched for similar bug reports (including closed issues) and found none was relevant.

What happened?

The navigation app flags disappear after the screen dims in always on mode, when the icons file changes

What should happen instead?

They should not disappear

Reproduction steps

1. Enable always on mode
2. Open navigation app and start navigating
3. Wait for screen to dim
4. Trigger a navigation scenario which causes the icons file 1 to change
5. Observe there is no flag

More details?

If you keep the screen active and cause a situation where the icon file changes again, the flag will re-appear.

Reverting 44d1798 "fixes" this.

Thanks for the report!

The SPI flash is slept during AOD to save power. This causes reading the image tiles from flash to fail

Honestly, the power saving is minimal relative to the LCD power. The complexity of trying to force rendering to not require the flash in AOD definitely isn't worth the power cost. I think it makes sense to just keep the flash on all the time during AOD
