UI Test automation

We have some money to spend and are looking into investing in UI Test automation. Our purpose is to cut down on repetitive manual testing. This will be mainly used for some legacy apps developed in WPF and Winforms (and Devexpress controls).
We tried WinAppdriver but with no prior experience, we didn't feel it would serve us immediately.
Our initial target is something similar to record and play to reduce 'regression test' times (that we currently do manually).

Just by reading about various products, I am inclined toward recommending Test Complete to my team.
Any thoughts from fellow Csla developers?
