In the L5R database in particular, it would be beneficial to have "Erratum" and "Keywords" fields override by instance if there is a specific change. While the Oracle generally supports "most normalized wording", the addition of non-official content makes it more necessary to separate errata issued for fan-run projects from the official wordings (example: Shigekawa's Court). The instance-specific values should override the base value on their instance only.
There may be other fields to which this can be applied; these two are currently the most relevant.
