Implement Utah's Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) — the child care subsidy administered by the Utah Department of Workforce Services (DWS), Office of Child Care (OCC). CCAP helps eligible low-income families pay for child care while parents work, attend school/training, or participate in approved activities. The subsidy is paid to providers based on a maximum reimbursement rate schedule, less an income-based family copayment.
This is part of the ongoing state CCAP coverage effort (following IL, ND, KY, ME, MI, MN, RI, NH, NJ, VT, CT, MD, WV, SC, GA, VA, TN, SD, OK, OH, etc.).
