Can't get automation to work #103

Have everything working with the integration. Can pull all the details out etc. But what I can't seem to work out is how to Automate. I've no longer in read only mode. I've checked buttons / switches etc, but no Sigenergy devices/entities that I can select. Can see my aircon, hue lights etc, but nothing available under "then do". I can use sigenergy for the rules/conditions/triggers, but just can't seem to actually tell it to do anything. Any help/suggestions please. |

Ok managed to get it all sorted! Enabled the remote EMS configuration in home assistant, ensured integrated wasn't in read only, and can call it correctly. Case closed :) |

@bountyhunter069 quick Q - will EMHASS also react to short term spikes like we have seen over the last few days in NSW? |
If you follow the guide I shared, it is incredibly reactive and reacts generally within 30 seconds. I've made good money this week from those brief spikes. |

Hi again @bountyhunter069 . I finally got around to setting this up today. To date I have had my own buy/sell helpers set and I just update them occasionally. It appears to be running - I can see the EMHASS plan and the Sigen Plant Remote EMS Control Mode changing. Q: Do you know if this handles the Demand Windows that Amber passes through ie no grid exports during the demand window? I did not have to update that sensor in any of the scripts. |

Hey Luke, I ended up just putting a condition in the battery automation script to not import when demand window is active. Does its trick. Would be better in the emhass script itself so it's aware and doesn't factor in buying during the demand time, but I had a few issues getting it going. Using the battery automation script works fine though. |
