License Terms

1. Definitions

  • "Software" refers to the Adiscript™ and AdiLang™ Interpreters, Compilers, Runtimes, Standard Libraries, and all related executable code and source code.
  • "Documentation" includes all documentation, language specifications, tutorials, examples, API references, and related materials.
  • "Trademarks" include "Adiscript™", "AdiLang™", "Adiscript Programming Language", "AdiLang Programming Language", associated logos, wordmarks, and related marks.
  • "Project" collectively refers to the Software, Documentation, and Trademarks.
  • "You" refers to any individual or entity using, copying, modifying, or distributing the Project.

2. All Rights Reserved License

IMPORTANT: This software and all associated materials are ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. No rights are granted for use, modification, distribution, or commercial exploitation without explicit written permission from the copyright holder.

License Restrictions:

  1. No Automatic Rights: No rights are automatically granted to use, copy, modify, or distribute this software
  2. Written Permission Required: All use requires explicit written permission from Aditya Dev
  3. Commercial Use Prohibited: Commercial use is strictly prohibited without a separate commercial license
  4. No Derivative Works: Creation of derivative works is prohibited without written consent
  5. No Distribution: Distribution of any kind is prohibited without written permission

3. Documentation and Intellectual Property Rights

All Documentation is the exclusive intellectual property of Aditya Dev and is protected by copyright laws, international treaties, and applicable intellectual property regulations.

Documentation Usage Restrictions:

  1. Reproduction: No copying, reproducing, or distributing Documentation without express written permission from the copyright holder.
  2. Derivative Works: Creating derivative works, translations, or adaptations of the Documentation is prohibited without explicit authorization.
  3. Commercial Use: Commercial use of Documentation requires a separate commercial license agreement.
  4. Attribution: All copyright, trademark, and proprietary notices must remain intact and unaltered.
  5. Reverse Engineering: Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the Software is prohibited except as expressly permitted by applicable law.

4. Trademark Rights and Usage

"Adiscript™" and "AdiLang™" and all associated trademarks are the exclusive property of Aditya Dev and are protected under applicable trademark laws.

Trademark Usage Policy:

  1. No Grant of Rights: This license grants no rights to use any trademarks, service marks, or trade names.
  2. Name Restrictions: You may not use "Adiscript™", "AdiLang™", or confusingly similar names for your own programming languages, software products, or services.
  3. Domain and Social Media: Registration of domain names, social media handles, or usernames incorporating "Adiscript™" or "AdiLang™" is prohibited.
  4. Branding Restrictions: Use of trademarks in your product names, company names, or marketing materials is strictly forbidden.
  5. Fair Use: Limited descriptive use (e.g., "compatible with Adiscript™ or AdiLang™") is permitted provided it does not imply endorsement or create confusion.

5. Attribution and Endorsement

Prohibited Activities:

  1. False Endorsement: You may not claim, suggest, or imply any endorsement, sponsorship, approval, or affiliation with Aditya Dev or the Adiscript™ or AdiLang™ projects.
  2. Relationship Claims: No statements suggesting partnership, collaboration, or official relationship beyond standard software usage.
  3. Reputation Protection: Use that could damage the reputation or goodwill of Aditya Dev or the Adiscript™ or AdiLang™ projects is prohibited.
  4. Marketing Restrictions: Use of the Project name or trademarks in your marketing, advertising, or promotional materials without written consent is forbidden.

6. First Use and Priority Claims

This document serves as formal notice of Aditya Dev's claim to first use and ownership of:

  • The "Adiscript™" and "AdiLang™" names and trademarks
  • All associated intellectual property
  • The Adiscript™ and AdiLang™ programming language concepts and implementations
  • All related documentation and materials

First Use Date: August 02, 2025 (or earlier as evidenced by development history)

7. Legal Enforcement

Violations and Remedies:

  1. Immediate Cessation: Any violation of these terms requires immediate cessation of the violating activity.
  2. Legal Action: Violations will result in appropriate legal action including but not limited to cease and desist orders, injunctive relief, and monetary damages.
  3. Attorney Fees: Violators agree to be liable for all reasonable attorney fees, court costs, and damages resulting from enforcement actions.
  4. Injunctive Relief: Copyright and trademark violations may be subject to immediate injunctive relief.

Jurisdiction and Governing Law:

  1. Jurisdiction: All disputes shall be resolved in the courts having jurisdiction over Aditya Dev's primary residence.
  2. Applicable Law: This license is governed by the laws of India.
  3. Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.

8. Prohibited Uses and Legal Compliance

Illegal Use Prohibition:

You are strictly prohibited from using the Project for any illegal, unlawful, or criminal purposes, including but not limited to:

  1. Malicious Software: Creating malware, viruses, ransomware, or other harmful software
  2. Unauthorized Access: Developing tools for unauthorized system access or hacking
  3. Criminal Activities: Any use in furtherance of criminal activities under applicable law
  4. Harassment or Abuse: Creating software designed to harass, threaten, or abuse individuals
  5. Fraud or Deception: Developing applications intended to defraud or deceive users
  6. Privacy Violations: Creating software that violates privacy laws or regulations
  7. Regulatory Violations: Any use that violates applicable laws, regulations, or industry standards

ADITYA DEV EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR HOW THE PROJECT IS USED. THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ILLEGAL, UNETHICAL, OR HARMFUL USE OF THE SOFTWARE, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH USE WAS FORESEEABLE.

Warranty Disclaimer:

THE PROJECT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
