What about multiple complexes complexed together? I just saw a network diagram showing this on NDEX. Looking at the original BEL 2.0 documentation I don't see that requirement.

They would be defined as a complex of named complexes like complex(complex(A), complex(B),...)

From the Spec for complexAbundance() (2.0 and 2.1):

I'm not averse to what you are proposing, but it's not a simple clarification to the Specs. Let's do a BEP for this or since Natalie wrote the original spec this way, if she's up for it (she's on vacation this week), I'm happy to make the change (or feel free to do a Pull Request).
