This chart bootstraps a single node MySQL deployment on a TAS (Tanzu Application Service) using the Bitnami MySQL chart
- TAS environment with Tanzu Service Manager installed and configured.
- Connection setup for the
tsmgrCLI to properly target an environment

- Kubernetes cluster registered with TSMGR and set as default
tsmgr cluster register my-cluster-name my-cluster-creds-file.yaml
tsmgr cluster set-default my-cluster-nameTo save the offer:
$ tsmgr offer save mysql/tsmgr mysql/mysql-6.14.10.tgz
The command saves MySQL offer on TAS. The offer name and version will match the name and version defined in tsmgr.yaml file.
Alternatively a <tsmgr>.yaml file can be defined in the tsmgr directory with a different offer name and used as input for tsmgr offer save:

The current offers can be listed as following:

The offer access is not available by default in cf. You can verify that by calling the follow commands. Notice that mysql is not available in the marketplace, even though it is listed by service-access (with access=none):

In order to enable the access, use the following command:

After enabling access to the offer, it's possible to provision a new instance.
First let's list the cf and kubernetes services:

You can verify the app data in MySQL instance as optional step. To do that:
- Create a service key for the MySQL instance:
$ cf create-service-key mysql1 mysql1-servicekey
- Verify the hostname, user and password in the service key data
$ cf service-key mysql1 mysql1-servicekey

- Select the my_db database:
