Hovering over player in Montara or Mavericks causes some song info to be hidden

When using Montara or Mavericks layout type, hovering over the player at the top will hide some of the elements:

Steps to Reproduce

1. Enable Montara or Mavericks layout type
2. Hover over the player at the top

It appears to be because of whatever gradient is applied, as when the window is small, this happens when hovering:
