Hi Jonathan, I'm making an app to study better (and to take good notes), one feature needs to fetch the verse (in french) so I was wondering where did you get the full json of the Bible ? It may simplify my code because I fetch https://wol.jw.org/fr/wol/parallel/r30/lp-f/Rbi8/{verse} which is not the best

Hey crosf32! We're scraping the verses directly from the HTML using this URL: https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/b/r1/lp-e/nwtsty/40/1#study=discover&v=40:1:2-40:1:2

You may have noticed this sequence of characters: 40:1:2. (A:B:C)
Number A refers to the Bible book number (the linked verse is from Matthew and Matthew is the 40th book in the Bible)
Number B refers to the chapter of the book (in this case chapter 1)
Number C refers to the verse number (in this case verse 2)

Number A and Number B are also included as path parameters in the URL -> e/nwtsty/40/1

Then we can get the verse from the HTML by selecting the element with the correct ID value. Afterwards we remove all the links and references from the verse so that we can get the raw text of the verse.

In a nutshell that is how we retrieve the JSON of the Bible using WOL.
