As I have a Cupra Born, I was looking for something like this.Thank you. Now, I am connecting this with my Openhab server through mqtt.

Likewise. This is an incredibly useful piece of work and in fact, I control the car only via HA now and only very rarely go into the official CUPRA app. I've had a Born for over a year now and as I was looking to switch to Intelligent Octopus, I needed some way of ensuring that the smart charge slots did not empty my house battery.

This integration made that possible as now I have an automation which disables the house battery discharge when the car is charging and enables it when it stops charging. Works perfectly so long as CUPRA keep their Connect server plugged in!

Having some struggles logging in - I’m using my usual email and password that I use to login to normal WeConnect App?

Should be the password for the My Cupra app, which is the one for the Cupra Born.

Ah yes I saw it had only been tested with the Born - I have a Leon myself - was hoping this integration would allow me to see the trip/mileage info and status of the car from HA eg if locked or not etc. the app used for this is called CupraConnect

Yes, sorry - blame VAG for creating a new app for every single variant of their cars. Even the Cupra Born and VW ID.3, which are 99% identical have separate, incompatible applications.

Yes, this is actually the status of the vehicle's ignition - i.e. whether or not the car is "switched on". Ironically, VAG call it "engine" in their API too 😉

These are the ones I have. Mostly stolen from the design from the dev. Just two separate entities cards.

Yaml code here. Replace the XXXX with whatever you called your CUPRA device, the default is the VIN I think.

Not sure if you have Intelligent Octopus but I have this card which keeps all the car stuff in one place. Hope that helps.

I want to publish the charge power via mqtt to evcc. I'm not sure how to do this. Can you give me a tipp.
My strategy is: publish the actual charge power and use this in evcc as wallbox meter (realised via mqtt).
