Desktop 2026.7.0 breaks vault display — fido2Credentials error

Self-hosted Vaultwarden 1.37.0. After updating desktop app to 2026.7.0, vault shows completely empty. Error in console:

invalid type: JsValue(Object({"fido2Credentials":[{"counter":"2.XA/VYg...", ...}]})), expected a string

Browser extension still works fine and shows the item with no issues. Rolling desktop back to 2026.6.x fixes it.

Checked the DB — fido2Credentials is stored as an object with separate encrypted fields (counter, credentialId, keyValue, etc). Error suggests newer desktop SDK expects a single encrypted string instead.

Is this a known issue? Does Vaultwarden need a change here, or is this purely a bitwarden/clients regression?

Known and fixed. And of you would have searched would already known that you need to clear the cache of your client, either fully logout and login again or delete the data directory in these cases.

Also be 100% sure you are running 1.37.0 by checking /admin/diagnostics
