Is there a quick way to display the local IP address? Or could someone guide me through creating a custom hardware sensor for this purpose? I'm converting my old computer into a headless server with TrueNAS Scale to learn the basics of homelab. It will work without a monitor, but with a 3.5" Turing Smart Screen to show its stats. I plan to configure it with a fixed/static local IP address, but, to learn a bit about Python, I also want to display it on the USB display. |

It takes a custom sensor but it's easy to get into place. Have a look over here.
