How to get rid of Now Playing bar?

If I play an album on Concertmaster, a yellow Now Playing bar appears at the bottom of my screen. I can maximize this to take up the whole screen, or I can minimize it back down to a bar, but I can't seem to get rid of it, even after force quitting the app. Is there some trick I'm missing? It takes up a good chunk of screen real estate. Or can the minimized size be about half the height it currently is, more like the Spotify bar?

Concertmaster's now playing bar is quite big because it tries to solve Spotify's problem of not showing enough info (for classical music) on what's being played. It could be slimmer, though, specially on smaller devices. I'm labeling it as an enhancement suggestion.

Or could there be some way to make it disappear entirely? Like if it shows up when I push the yellow Play button, could it go away when I push Listen on Spotify?

Hmm, it seems you prefer to use Concertmaster as a catalogue and keep the actual listening to Spotify itself (via the "Listen on Spotify" button). It makes sense. I'll think of a way to get rid of the bar when it's not needed or wanted.
