UMA / universal-mail--automation outstanding work (recorded 2026-06-20).

State: launchd com.4jp.mail-triage runs every 30 min (LIVE, triage only). Daily run_automation.sh dormant (missing ~/.config/op/mail_automation.env.op.sh).

Remaining work (the only open item):

1. Outbound sends are GATED — every send awaits explicit per-message user approval (closed-with-receipt). No autonomous send.
2. (Optional) restore the daily automation env file to re-arm run_automation.sh.

Held pending user-approved sends. Filed to make this owner self-aware on its own repo. Source: conductor per-owner reconcile.

Triage-only pass 2026-07-18 because UMA has active work in flight today: this remains a useful historical receipt, but the send-gate story has evolved since June and the current exact-head repair path is PR #174. Next concrete step: once #174 lands and the steady-state send policy is proven, add a follow-up note here linking the newer receipt.
