Hi, I’m Sven 👋

I’m a full-time sysadmin for a mid-sized industrial company in northern Germany, a dad of two, and I build software in my spare time.

My projects usually start from real everyday problems: self-hosting, family organization, smart home dashboards, automation and tools that make life at home or work a bit easier.

My main open-source project is Kinboard — a self-hosted family dashboard for kitchen wall displays with calendars, shopping lists, weather, photos, smart home data and household information in one clean interface.

I work on open source after work, in the evenings, and whenever family life allows it.
