BlackLid is experimental software that can change display configuration state.

Only the latest main branch is supported during the MVP phase.

Please report issues when BlackLid:

• fails to restore the built-in display
• leaves a recovery marker stuck
• crashes during enable/restore
• hard-links private frameworks by accident
• unexpectedly changes external display arrangement

Use GitHub Security Advisories when available. If the issue is not sensitive, open a normal GitHub issue with logs and the restore verification report.

BlackLid should always prefer a conservative skip over a risky display mutation. Private API experiments must stay behind explicit troubleshooting or technical-tool controls until repeated restore testing proves them safe.
