I am a Ph.D. student in Chinese History at the School of History, Beijing Normal University (北京師範大學), China. My main research interests include constitutional thought and constitution-making, state-building, the Third Force in modern China, and digital history.

I am a historian by training, specializing in modern and contemporary Chinese history. In applying digital and computational methods to historical research, I collect and structure modern Chinese historical materials and analyze them using computational text analysis, social network analysis, and historical geographic information systems (HGIS). I also explore approaches to digital and computational history that facilitate the sharing of research data and code.

I am currently preparing a doctoral dissertation on constitution and state-building in modern China.

• Constitutionalism and Constitutional History in Modern China: I study constitutional thought, visions of the state-building, constitution-making, and changes in political institutions from the late Qing through Republican China to the People's Republic of China.

• The Third Force and Political Networks: I examine the relationships among Third Force actors, political parties and associations, intellectuals, and media outlets in late 1940s China from the perspectives of political history and network analysis.

• Digital History: I explore the collection and preprocessing of modern Chinese newspapers, journals, and other historical texts; computational text analysis; the analysis of co-occurrence patterns, semantic relationships, and interpersonal networks; HGIS and interactive web mapping; and reproducible ways to share research data and code.

• ModernChinaConstitutionalism: A research project that analyzes long-term changes in the discourse surrounding 立憲, 憲政, 憲法, and 制憲 in Shenbao (《申報》) through frequency patterns, co-occurrence networks, lexical similarity, and representative contexts.

• shlib-shenbao-dataset-workflow: A repository that provides the workflow for collecting article texts from the Shanghai Library Shenbao database and preprocessing them into research datasets, together with Python scripts, sample data, and development records.

• 3rdForceNetwork: Code, data, and visualizations for analyzing the media landscape and political position of the Third Force through an author-periodical network covering China from 1945 to 1949.

• Yi-Bangik-Drift · drift-route-map-viewer: Research data reconstructing Yi Bang-ik's 1796 drift route through HGIS, together with an interactive web map for exploring the drift and escort routes.

• rmrbscraping · scraping_ncpssd: Tools for collecting articles from People's Daily (《人民日報》) and bibliographic metadata from China's National Center for Philosophy and Social Sciences Documentation.

• custom-instructions-for-codex: An AGENTS.md instruction set for research and coding workflows involving Korean and Chinese historical sources, with an emphasis on source accuracy, UTF-8-safe file handling, conservative code changes, and practical verification.
