EVE Agent Portrait Downloader

Download every EVE Online agent portrait with one click.

Create a complete portrait library for an EveJS server or save it anywhere on your computer.

Getting Started

1. Open the Releases section on this GitHub page.
2. Download the latest Windows zip.
3. Extract the entire zip to a normal folder.
4. Double-click StartAgentPortraitDownloader.bat.
5. Choose one of the two modes below.
6. Select the portrait sizes you want.
7. Click Start download.

You can close the app and run it again later. Portraits already downloaded are skipped automatically, so an interrupted download safely resumes where it left off.

Choose A Mode

Seed EveJS Server

Use this when you want the portraits installed directly into an EveJS server.

1. Download and set up the current public EveJS release.
2. Run DatabaseCreator.bat in EveJS and let it finish.
3. In this app, select Seed EveJS server.
4. Click Browse and choose the main EveJS folder, the one containing DatabaseCreator.bat, server, and _local.
5. Wait for Compatible EveJS installation detected.
6. Click Start download.

Direct server seeding is designed for the current public EveJS release linked above. Other server layouts should use Download to folder instead.

Download To Folder

Use this when you simply want the complete portrait collection.

1. Select Download to folder.
2. Click Browse and choose any writable folder.
3. Select the sizes you want.
4. Click Start download.

The chosen folder receives:

Portraits are downloaded from CCP's public image service at images.evetech.net while the app is running.

Options

• Portrait sizes: choose only the resolutions you need. Selecting every size downloads six files per agent and uses considerably more disk space.
• Refresh portraits that already exist: replaces existing portraits. Leave this off for normal use and faster reruns.
• Parallel downloads: controls download speed. The default is a sensible balance for most internet connections.

Troubleshooting

The app says my EveJS installation is not supported

Make sure you selected the main EveJS folder, not server, client, or _local. Use the current public release linked above.

The app says EveJS setup is incomplete

Run `SetupEveJS.bat' in your EveJS folder, and return once done!

Some downloads fail

Leave refresh disabled and run the downloader again. Completed files are skipped and only missing portraits are requested.

I only want the images

Select Download to folder. No EveJS installation is required for that mode.

Compatibility

• Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit.
• Wifi. Duh.
• The release zip is self-contained and does not require a separate runtime.
