Welcome to the Phoenix Network translation documentation!
Here we will show you how you can help us translate the game.

❤️ We thank everyone who wants to support us by translating our projects! ❤️

Getting Started

If you want to help us translating, all you have to do is make an account on our Weblate.
By default, you can suggest translations which then have to be approved by a Language Moderator.

We are likely actively looking for Language Moderators, which you can apply for in Modmail on our Discord!

Note

We have a dedicated channel in our Discord to help with Translations, to get access simply use the ;translate command in the #bot-commands channel!

Projects

This is currently our only project, which contains everything you can see on https://accounts.phoenixnetwork.net/.
This includes registering, logging in, changing your Phoenix Account settings and more!

Translating

Weblate takes some getting used to, so if any questions arise feel free to ask us in the Discord channel!

To start translating, check out a project below, select the language you want to translate to and click the Translate button on the right!

On the language overview you can also see which languages have already been translated, and which have not. image

You can click Translate, and it will open the translate menu image

To start translating, you can compare to other languages you know and translate.
If the string needs more context, you can always look on the right to the 'String Information' section.
Component and Key will always be there, Language Moderators can also add screenshot context if needed.

If no other info is there and it is unclear, you can always check the live website of the project you're translating or ask for help in the Discord channel!
