🤔 What is BCC Freepass ?

BCC Freepass is an integral part of the BCC open recruitment process, specifically designed for those of you who are eager to join the Frontend department through an exclusive free pass challenge. This challenge is held to uphold and maintain the high standards we set for our recruitment process. Why is this challenge so rigorous? Because participants who successfully complete and pass this challenge will immediately secure their place as a member of BCC without having to go through the regular recruitment stages. Therefore, it is crucial for you to give your absolute best and submit your most outstanding work. Make sure to seize this golden opportunity and show us your skills!

💪 Challenge

To successfully pass the Free Pass selection, participants must complete one of the specified challenges accurately and in accordance with the required criteria for the chosen category: Web Development or Multi-Platform Development.

🌐🖥️ Web Challenge

Make a web application with the following specifications:

• Use a framework or library for building the web application, preferably React.
• Implement API calls for the following operations: POST, GET, DELETE, and PUT.
  • For the API you may choose to use: A public API available online. Or create your own API (using tools like Node.js, Express, Flask, etc.), it doesn't affect our scoring. The key factor in evaluation is how you handle the given data, so keep that in mind while working
• Implement a state management
• Implement error handling
• Design should be responsive for all device (Desktop, Tablet, Handphone)
  • The design of the application does not need to be your own. Feel free to use design ideas or take inspiration from websites such as
    • Dribbble
    • Behance
    • Mobbin
    • Screenlane
• Deploy your website so that it can be accessed by the public.
  • Use a free hosting service, so you don't need to spend any money for this challenge. You can use platforms like:
    • Github
    • Vercel
    • Netlify

Bonus Point

• Use Next js as a Framework or library for building the web
• Implement complex animation
• Using semantic HTML
• Implement Modern State Management (Zustand)

🌐📱 Mobile Challenge (Flutter)

Make an application with requirements as below:

• Application should perform CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete).
• Implement Local Storage.
• Implement State Management.
• Implement an API call (POST/GET/DELETE/PUT)
• Implement error handling
  • You can use a public API or make your own it doesn't affect our scoring. The key factor in evaluation is how you handle the given data, so keep that in mind while working
• The design of the Application does not have to be your own design, You may take references from the internet Dribbble | Behance | Mobbin | Screenlane

Bonus Point

• Implement complex animation
• Implement Theme Switching
• Responsive Display

🗂️ Submission Guidline

1. Fork this repository on GitHub then do the following:
   • Setup an Upstream remote to this repository https://github.com/bccfilkom-fe/Freepass-FE-2025.git.
   • Sync your fork with the upstream.
2. Clone your fork of the repository to your local computer
3. Create a branch with a descriptive name to work (i.e., git checkout -b your-name).
4. Make changes, commit them, and push the branch to your repository fork.
5. Submit a pull request to the main branch.
6. Don't forget to leave your identity such as name and NIM in your Pull Request
7. After submit Pull Request, please fill your identity at this form. We will contact you ASAP for the interview session

📝 Submission Convention

1. Project submitted must be your own work.
2. Follow the accepted naming conventions for your language/framework.
3. Follow the accepted naming file and directory structure for your language/framework.
4. No comments/unused code/unused file/unused folder must ever be checked in.
5. Use .gitignore.

• Challenges submitted must be your own work. Code obtained from other sources (websites, books, forums, GitHub, etc.) should only be used for reference.
• The deadline was expected before 23:59 on January 29, 2025. There is an interview after you did a pull request. Please, prepare your self for interview, our team will contact you immediately.
