Summary

Rewrite the README with clearer structure: overview, features, tech stack, prerequisites, and setup steps
Fix incorrect app port (8080 → 8081) to match application.properties
Document APIs, topic/consumer group, and a short how-it-works section aligned with the code

Test plan

Preview the README on GitHub and confirm formatting renders cleanly
Spot-check that documented URLs use port 8081
Confirm Kafka setup commands and project path (spring-boot-kafka/) match the repo layout
