Quick Start (Local)

npm install
npm start
# → Open http://localhost:3000

Deploy to Render.com (Free)

1. Push this folder to a GitHub repository
2. Go to render.com → New → Web Service
3. Connect your GitHub repo
4. Settings:
   • Build Command: npm install
   • Start Command: npm start
   • Environment: Node
5. Click Deploy — you'll get a free URL like https://lvl3-games.onrender.com

Note: Free tier spins down after 15 min idle. First load after idle takes ~30 sec. Fine for 4 friends.

Each user must change their temporary password on first login.

Multiplayer — How It Works

1. One player creates a room → gets a 4-letter code
2. Others enter the code on the same game page to join
3. Host sets difficulty + points-to-win → clicks Start
4. First player to reach the points target wins
