Based on https://cloudinit.readthedocs.io/en/latest/reference/datasources.html & https://github.com/rancher/elemental-toolkit/blob/main/pkg/features/embedded/cloud-config-essentials/system/oem/00_rootfs.yaml#L13 This will enable for example deploy harvester on baremetal providers (using openstack or configdrive) or cloud providers. Problem:
Harvester doesn't allow customizations via cloud-init using config drive for example, only cdrom according to https://github.com/harvester/os2/blob/sle-micro/files/system/oem/02_datasource.yaml#L6
Solution:
Add more datasources.
