A group project that was developed for a university assignment on the subject of Databases.
The project requirements are as followed:
- Design a relational database for the purpose of storing data based on a car dealership company.
- Generate hypothetical organization data using Mocaroo for random data generation.
- Write SQL queries for creating new databases, managing records, filtering, and defining relationships.
- Perform database normalization based on Third-Normal-Form (3NF) and Boyce-Codd Normal Form (BCNF).
- Setup triggers and cursors to ensure data integrity and perform maintenance.
- Write a program in Java using the JDBC client to simulate real world consumption of the database.
