Evaluates LifeOS as a candidate layer for the SDD stack — compatibility with OpenSpec, GitNexus and Graphify, plus a workflow comparison against explore → propose → apply → archive.

Decision (split)

Discarded as kit payload / constitutional layer:

  • LifeOS installs a user-global harness (~/.claude/CLAUDE.md, appended system prompt, ~16 hooks, ~50 skills) that competes with AGENTS.md for agent authority. No file collision — context and authority collision.
  • Its BPE doctrine (RULES/Philosophy.md) explicitly cuts procedural instruction as scaffolding: "would a smarter model make this rule unnecessary? If yes, it is scaffolding, not architecture, and it belongs cut." Applied to this repo, that deletes the A–E Task Classification Protocol and R1.
  • Change model does not reconcile: one living ISA.md mutated in place with git as changelog and no archive concept, versus change-as-delta merged into openspec/specs/.
  • No pre-code human gate (R7 has no counterpart); LifeOS gates at close, not at entry.
  • Its documented install command (curl … | bash) is denied by this repo's own .claude/settings.json.

Deferred as a pattern source — portable with zero runtime dependency:

  • Claim-with-falsifier as a task shape (extends sdd-task-patterns)
  • Evidence modality table; "should work" banned
  • Non-forked reviewer rule (a fork inherits build context and defends its own code)
  • Class-sweep; ask-fidelity ledger

Each is a candidate for its own /opsx:propose.

Method note

Sourced from the shipped filesALGORITHM/v8.17.3.md, RULES/Verification.md, RULES/Philosophy.md, Workflows/Setup.md — not the README, which still describes a phase machine (OBSERVE→…→LEARN, tiers E1–E5) that v8.17.3 explicitly retired: "there is no phase CLI and no station ceremony of any kind."

LIFEOS_SYSTEM_PROMPT.md and the ourlifeos.ai payload were not readable in this environment and are marked [NEEDS VERIFICATION] in the document — the discard rests on an unread constitutional file, and that gap is stated rather than papered over.

Changes

File Change
doc/avaliacoes/2026-08-11-lifeos.md New evaluation (house template)
doc/avaliacoes/README.md Index row
openspec/project.md Non-goal: no second constitutional layer for agents

Gates (local, pre-push)

…Deferred (patterns)

Evaluate LifeOS (danielmiessler/LifeOS) as a candidate layer for the SDD
stack: compatibility with OpenSpec, GitNexus and Graphify, and a workflow
comparison against explore -> propose -> apply -> archive.

Decision is split:

- Discarded as kit payload / constitutional layer. LifeOS installs a
  user-global harness (~/.claude/ CLAUDE.md, appended system prompt, ~16
hooks, ~50 skills) that competes with AGENTS.md for agent authority. Its
BPE doctrine explicitly cuts procedural instruction as scaffolding, which
would delete the A-E Task Classification Protocol and R1. Its change model
(one living ISA, git as changelog, no archive) does not reconcile with
change-as-delta merged into specs/. Its documented install command is
denied by this repo's own .claude/settings.json.
- Deferred as a pattern source. The verification doctrine (per-claim
evidence modality, temporal and cache fidelity, evidence coverage,
  class-sweep, restore-parity, non-forked reviewer, ask-fidelity ledger)
fills a real gap and is portable with zero runtime dependency. Backlog
items listed in the evaluation; each is a candidate for its own proposal.

Sourced from the shipped files (ALGORITHM/v8.17.3.md, RULES/Verification.md,
RULES/Philosophy.md, Workflows/Setup.md), not the README, which still
describes a retired phase machine. LIFEOS_SYSTEM_PROMPT.md and the
ourlifeos.ai payload were not readable in this environment and are marked
[NEEDS VERIFICATION].

Adds the index row and a Non-goal barring a second constitutional layer.
