💡 I'm a research software engineer for the Otis Lab at the Medical University of South Carolina. I build random projects.

💻 Current project(s):

  • Phoxel Workbench - the umbrella platform for the REACHER Suite, an integrated toolset for behavioral neuroscience experiments in head-fixed mice
    • reacher - Python backend & serial protocol kernel for hardware control (FastAPI + WebSocket)
    • labrynth - cross-platform desktop app shell that packages reacher into standalone installers
    • roigbiv - automated ROI detection & longitudinal tracking pipeline for two-photon microscopy
    • axplorer - exploratory data analysis dashboard for aligned neural & behavioral data
    • pynapse - core data engine for loading, aligning, and preprocessing neural/behavioral recordings
